HOYA HD Mk II IRND Filter Kit includes 3 unique neutral density filter that offer much more than just exposure correction. In addition to its standard 3-, 6- or 10-stop exposure reduction, the filters also provide excellent color reproduction. Thanks to the Infrared Neutral Density (IRND) technology, these filter effectively cut out infrared light, resulting in photos and videos that are free of unpredictable rusty tints.
Neutral density (ND) filters have a vast range of creative applications in photography and film. Their primary function is to increase exposure time, creating a motion blur effect that works particularly well in landscape photography. They are also incredibly useful for allowing wider aperture openings in the lens, enabling you to achieve a desirable depth of field even in bright lighting conditions.

MASTERING THE EXPOSURE
Neutral density filters uniformly darken the entire surface of the image, so they can be used to increase the exposure time or allow a wider aperture on the lens. HD Mk II series IRND filters come with an ultra-thin and lightweight aluminum frame that prevents any vignetting issues, even when used with wide-angle lenses. The filters can also be stacked together with ease, thanks to the front thread integrated into the frame.
